Chana Alchadeff

is a unique artist who has been teaching Jewish Studies, Hebrew and Bar/Bat Mitzvah Studies for over 30 years. She has created a one of a kind collection of paintings that combine both Torah portions and  Haftora portions of the Old Testament. She has also complied her entire collection of paintings into a colorful coffee table book titled, Teach Your Children.
Chana Alchadeff began painting as a child under the tutelage of her father, B’tzalel trained artist, Arieh Cohen. She continued her fine arts studies independently: taking courses and joining painting groups in order to perfect her oil painting skills.
Alchadeff went on to earn a degree in Education from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.  Along with her husband, Rabbi Gil Alchadeff, she developed a popular, specialized training curriculum which prepares students for their Bat/Bar Mitzvah.
